Yalla!!

We’ve teamed up with chef, restaurateur, and author Sami Tamimi for our May special.

Sami’s known for his long-standing partnership with Ottolenghi, with whom he opened Nopi, Rovi, and published multiple cookbooks (including Ottolenghi itself), but has more recently published his own cookbook Boustany and keeps us all entertained with his recipes on Insta too.

We’re really excited that he’s brought his signature flavours onto our classic YSP base to come up with the ‘YALLA, TAMIMI!’ – think red shatta aubergine, sumac pickled onion, and a green chilli and coriander sauce.

It’s a gorgeous veg-forward ‘za that we know you’ll love. The aubergine is lovingly tossed in red shatta (a fiery, fermented Middle Eastern chilli condiment) and honey, the red onions are pickled with sumac for an extra hit of flavour, and the green chilli and coriander sauce really makes it all sing.

We can’t think of a better match than the beginning of summer and this pizza – both are bright, delicious, and just waiting to be enjoyed.
