It all began with a little oven, chugging away in Johnnie’s own backyard. Nine years later and we’re serving love and pizza across North, East and now South London.
We’ve made some great friends along the way, starting with Macaulay Culkin and his band The Pizza Underground who performed at our Clapton shop’s launch party.
Since then we’ve worked on some epic pizza collaborations from NYC pizza legend Frank Pinello, to Mercury prize nominated musician Loyle Carner and more recently, Dalston kebab legends Mangal 2.
Through our special events and collaborations, we’ve been able to raise money for a number of charities over the years including Hackney Night Shelter, Football Beyond Borders and Chilli Con Carner, as well as feeding over 8,000 NHS staff at local hospitals during the pandemic through our NHS Pizza Fund.
We were awarded Best Value Eats in the Observer Food Monthly awards in 2022, after winning their Best Cheap Eats award in 2017, have been voted London’s favourite pizza in Time Out’s inaugural Clash of the Slices in 2022, and were named London’s most-loved restaurant in Time Out’s 2016 Love London Awards. We’ve been featured in the likes of Time Out, The Telegraph, Buzzfeed, Shortlist, Vogue, Evening Standard and on Sunday Brunch.
We’ll always be local at heart, making orders by hand and delivering them ourselves through our in-house delivery service – never through a third party. Handmade, hand-delivered from dough to door. It makes award-winning neighbourhood pizza that bit better.
We hope you agree.
